REVIEWS

"Scene-stealing turn by Vicky Holding, whose wryly observational Martha punctured Chekhov's miasma of self-obsession, even as her songs broke our hearts."

Andrew Sharpe,

Little Theatre Guild

(The Seagull, 2022)

A fine performance comes too from Vicky Holding as the doomed, lovelorn Martha whose love and hopes all disappear as quickly as the brandy in her very active glass. Martha also provides two genuine highlights in front curtain songs added in to smooth breaks between acts – a very welcome addition indeed.

Matthew Salisbury,

Leamington Observer

(The Seagull, 2022)

"...Marta, played by Vicky Holding, giving an excellent rendition of one of the show’s key songs, Another Hundred People, set to an atmospheric backdrop of film sequences depicting the city of New York."

Heidi Barber,

Elementary WhatsOn

(Company, 2021)

"Vicky Holding’s Juliet addresses her black-laced, candle-lit corpse with furious disbelief and articulacy way beyond her years."

John Kennedy,

The Reviews Hub

(Romeo & Juliet: The Confessions, 2021)

"There are performances here that would grace a West End stage: Vicky Holding is all wounded defiance as Grizabella (her Memory is plainly a showstopper but her movement is just as good)"

Peter Ormerod,

WarwickshireWorld

(Cats, 2019)

"The only actual hit song, Memory, is magnificently performed by Vicky Holding."

Peter McGarry,

Leamington Observer

(Cats, 2019)

"There were stand-out performances from Vicky Holding as Vivienne Kensington, whose stunning vocals in Legally Blonde really soared"
